interpretations of photographic seeing
in my photographic works i open the view onto dimensions of what is depicted that arise in my experience when i engage with a motif.
to that extent the actual “shot” serves me as an impulse-giving carrier material, already preformed by angle of view, light scenarios, dimension of focus. in the raw development i shape first interpretive forms, partly in several variants, which i then let interpenetrate by means of image-processing methods and condense further with regard to the inner expression of the image.
unlike in my visiographies, in which different images flow together in a semi-abstraction, in the “sensual views” i sound out only a single shot each time.
