Spaces of experience, touched upon
Eight open fragments which, like spotlights, each open up different aspects of a multi-dimensional inner space of experience and which are subtly interwoven with one another.
Behavioral dimensions such as "caution", "judgment", "exaggeration", "non-conformity", "forming prejudices", "seeking protection", "role-playing", "acceptance" are compressed into an emotional core, which is triggered associatively by the title metaphors and touched upon sonically in elementary ciphers.
The short sound sculptures were initially conceived as interludes for a lecture that dealt with these themes.
The subliminal-like electronic singing*) remains below the threshold of intelligibility and therefore leads to one's own inner images of the dimensions named. All particles break off after the opening, so that the composition continues to resonate on the non-acoustic side, in the inner ear.
