Metaphor of a Space of Experience
On a seemingly endless plain, as if born out of nothingness, fragments of artifacts arise, shimmering in the refracting light, reflecting it, transforming in their blossoming toward collapse into windblown traces of being.
Each such formation carries, cipher-like, a message that reveals itself only to the one who is able to be in resonance with its energy. Occasionally the magical signs unite into more encompassing wholes, partly planar, partly towering. They too transform into fragmentary traces of the messages. Ciphers. Touching the one who perceives with a lingering resonance, yet eluding his awareness.
Music and images of my group of works “Sigillenspuren” translate such dimensions of experience into sonic and visual metaphors which, transformed into individual dimensions in each case, unfold depths of inner wealth in love, gratitude and a sense of being sheltered.
The opening of such dimensions of being touches on levels of internalized resistances. Only facing them leads into the process of transformation, of letting the magical sigil ciphers take effect.
I use the term “sigils” here in the figurative sense of its essence, that is, more broadly than its originally evolved forms, rituals, yet in harmony with the sphere of influence of the experiences of transcendence connected with it.
