Dimensions of Reality and Magic

The dance and film interpretation of my mythical composition “Die Reinigung der Helle” by the dancer and hybrid media artist Juliana Rodrigues expresses the comprehensive orientation toward a “purification of light”: as a shared attitude of love, humanity and respect, which is needed especially in times of a breaking world in order to release liberating, healing power.

While composing, I experienced intense associative connections to Mesoamerican myths, which archetypally interweave several dimensions of reality and magic (Carlos Castaneda). A transforming immersion takes shape into simultaneous multidimensional variants of the nevertheless “same” state.
