Interpretations of Photographic Seeing
In my photographic works I open the view onto those dimensions of what is depicted that arise in my experience when I engage with a motif.
Using image-processing methods, I interweave such variants by means of a finely differentiated linking technique, with which I further condense the image with regard to its inner expression.
In this creative process the camera has a merely serving function, just as the digital image-processing methods do: only in combining them do I shape the overall creative goal, which could not be attained with either tool alone.
I realized each of the works presented on this site with only a single shot. More complex, more strongly abstracting montages, in which I fuse several shots into “visiographies”, I show in the galleries of my site “visible-music”.
